Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer and director best known for being the protagonist of Birdman. Keaton is an actor with a variety of talents that can be seen in both comedy as well as dramatic characters. His professional career has seen him take on a few romantic characters. He's also been in a variety of films. At the age of a teenager and began his journey into performing and acting. When he was a young adult, he tried the stand-up comedy route. It wasn't a great comedian, but it did pave the way to pursue a career in acting. He was unable to succeed as a comedian he took up a job as a television cameraman in a cable channel. He realized his real desire was to be in front of the camera, while working at an cable company. In the end, he got a TV part, and was featured in several episodes Mister Rogers Neighborhood. His natural talent as an actor helped him become a household name on television. The comedic role he played earned him fame and a successful film career. His fame was further elevated when he portrayed Batman in Tim Burton's Batman. He grew in his abilities in his acting skills and moved into direction and production. He received several awards and nominations for his performances in the 2014 film Birdman.
