Aisling Bea

Aisling bea, born in Kildare Ireland on 16 March 1984, is one of the wealthiest and most well-known comic. The comedian has appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16th March, 1984) is a comedian and actress from Ireland. After appearing in bit parts in a variety of Irish and British television series from 2009 Bea started her career as a stand-up comedian in 2011. As early as 2012 she was in sitcoms and sketch comedy. After she was awarded an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) in 2012, she began appearing often in various panel programs. She's a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats since 2016, and she's a popular contestant of its spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Parents were Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. She has a younger sister, Sinead. In 2012 she became the only woman in history to be awarded the So You think That You're Funny award. Bea was awarded the award to commemorate her father's passing. Aisling O'Sullivan, also known as Cliodhnadh Aisling, was born at Kildare town in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian is an equine doctor who committed suicide when she was only three years old. Bea didn't learn how the death of her father occurred until she was thirteen. The stage name Bea was in tribute to her father. She was the author of an opinion piece for The Guardian, published in 2017, about her experience with suicide. Bea, along with her sister Sinead was raised by Helen Moloney (n e Moloney) who was a jockey as well as a teacher at a secondary school. Their family was enthralled by race meetings as well as horses. Bea had a job as an instructor for the Irish National Stud. From a very young age, Bea knew that she did not want to pursue the racing industry. Instead she loved the performance arts.
